The course of facial implantation surgery

Most often, they are located inside the mouth on the gum line, lower eyelid, or chin crease. A pocket is then created and the implant is placed in it.

After the implant is in place, the cut is stitched up and a bandage is put on. The procedure for putting in silicone elastomer or Gore-Tex inserts is done with local or general anesthesia.

The stitches will be removed after the mucous membrane or skin has healed, usually after 7 days. Absorbable stitches dissolve no earlier than 10 days. During the recovery period, the treated area should be treated with cold compresses.

The recovery period lasts approximately 7 to 10 days. For a maximum of 7 days, you should limit facial movements, follow a mushy or semi-liquid diet, and avoid bending over. It may be difficult to bite and chew for several days. If the incisions were located in the mouth, do not brush your teeth, and rinse your mouth with a disinfectant after each meal.
