local or general anesthesia
Dermabrasion has been used in medicine for many years, mainly as an effective treatment for acne scars. Dermabrasion is also used to treat stretch marks and deep scars, remove blemishes, reduce wrinkles, strengthen the skin, and stimulate collagen and elastin production.
The procedure involves uniform mechanical exfoliation of the skin to the same depth (the embryonic layer) across the entire treated area.
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia and does not require hospitalization.
Some scars disappear after the first procedure, but others require additional procedures.
Immediately after the procedure, a sterile bandage with antibacterial and antiviral agents is applied, which is removed after 7-10 days.
Dermabrasion is an effective procedure that mechanically removes the epidermis and upper layers of the dermis to smooth the skin. It is used to treat stretch marks, deep scars, wrinkles, and acne scars, among other conditions.
The cost of the procedure starts at PLN 1,000.
Dermabrasion is not completely painless. To avoid discomfort, the procedure is performed under local anesthesia.
It depends on the depth of the skin damage; smaller scars will disappear after
one session, but some will require additional sessions.
