We offer our patients chin surgery, which aims to improve the contour of the face by removing or tightening excess loose skin. Chin surgery aims to eliminate the so-called “double chin,” improve the contour of the face, and define the jawline, which adds charm and rejuvenates the face.

The chin correction procedure

In chin plastic surgery, we use liposuction, i.e., the removal of excess fat tissue. Chin liposuction is performed under local or general anesthesia. During the procedure, the surgeon makes small incisions in the chin and ear areas. Excess fat is suctioned from the chin using a cannula. The chin is reshaped, creating a clearly defined border between the face and neck and a new facial contour.

Post-operative recommendations after chin correction

After the procedure, the doctor applies stitches and a special compression bandage. This is a type of dressing that supports the healing process.

The patient wears the bandage day and night for about two weeks. Swelling and bruising are a natural consequence of the procedure.

The doctor will recommend appropriate measures to reduce discomfort. The final result is visible after about a month.

For about two weeks after the procedure, it is advisable to limit physical activity (avoid sudden movements and strenuous exercise).

During the initial period after the operation, hot baths, saunas, and solariums should be avoided.
