During the postoperative period, standing should be limited, excessive exertion should be avoided, and walking should be restricted. However, frequent lying or sitting with the legs elevated is recommended to reduce swelling. In cases of liposuction, a compression dressing/garment should be worn for several weeks. Then, for approximately three weeks after the procedure, limited physical activity is recommended (avoiding sudden movements and strenuous physical exertion). Hot baths, saunas, and tanning beds should be avoided for the initial period following surgery.
