The MIA Femtech procedure in Katowice takes place in comfortable conditions and lasts only a few minutes. The entire process – from entering the clinic to returning home – is simplified as much as possible and based on individual care.
Have a light breakfast and wear loose, comfortable clothing (preferably a zip-up sweatshirt).
You do not need to bring your pyjamas with you – you will be provided with appropriate clothing on site.
Your visit to the clinic will last a maximum of 60 minutes.
After admission, you will be taken to the Business Class area, where a nurse will prepare you for the procedure.
You will receive the services of a personal concierge who will accompany you throughout your stay.
The doctor will take a pre-operative photograph and mark precise markings on the skin to facilitate the procedure.
The procedure takes place in an operating theatre under local anaesthetic – you remain fully conscious.
A small incision (approx. 2 cm) is made in the armpit area – in justified cases, it may be located under the breast.
The implant is inserted precisely under the mammary gland using the MIA Femtech system.
The Tissue Preservation technique protects blood vessels and nerves – tissues are only spread apart, not cut.
The incision is closed with dissolvable stitches – there is no need to remove them.
You will receive a special bra to stabilise your breasts.
You will return to the Business Class area for a few minutes.
You will leave the clinic on your own – you can drive a car, although it will be safer if someone close to you picks you up.
